The McKinney family installed the Astrea 20:20 Automated Double Box Milking System. This system features a single robot arm which services two box stalls for about 100-120 cows. With its simple design the Astrea 20:20 was a plug and play install. Features of this robot include steam cleaning sanitation, prestripping teats as part of proper udder prep, Saturnus 20:20 Farm Management software, a manual attach option for difficult cows or when the robot is down for maintenance, and a robot arm guided by laser and camera to find and remember teat location. This dairy also features a new Boumatic Glacier bulk tank. As part of the AMS Galaxy purchase, Mr. McKinney was trained in Pennsylvania, at the AMS training facility to properly maintain and repair his machine, a training only offered to AMS-Galaxy robot owners. We congratulate the McKinney family on their investment for their future! For more pictures see our complete gallery posted below!
