Did you know that a cow doesn’t swallow her food right away? Cows go through a process called regurgitation. This a fancy way of saying that their food goes down into their stomach and back up to be chewed up again and again. This is also known to many as chewing cud. With that in mind its no wonder that a cow can have 40,000 jaw movements in a day! Talk about a jawbreaker!!
